Below these clouds lies the true surface, long abandoned after a catastrophic divine magic incident. The surface was briefly exposed during the Mercy Saga when a massive angelic orb emerged through the cloud layer, revealing the underground Marrow Kingdom.

Despite the appearance of the angelic orb and exposure of the Marrow Kingdom, Mercy continues to operate under Esperanto's direct colonial governance, maintaining its stance against piracy and illegal activities.
